The Retrosuperfuture brand was born from the idea of Daniel Beckerman who, together with the creative director Sean Michael Beolchini , managed to revolutionize the universe of eyewear. The particular name of the maison derives from a combination of two elements, distinctive traits of RSF: the first is the link with the past, from which the term "retro" derives and the second has to do with an eye to the future (future ), all driven by the “super” distinctive trait for the brand.
